Mortgage Automator
Mortgage Automator is a B2B FinTech SaaS platform used by private lenders to manage loan origination, servicing, and reporting. I redesigned complex financial workflows and integrated AI-assisted automation to transform fragmented tools into a unified, scalable platform for managing loan portfolios.

Context
Private lenders manage complex workflows—from loan origination to investor reporting—often across spreadsheets and disconnected tools. This fragmentation created operational risk and made it difficult for loan officers to process and track financial data efficiently.
The challenge was to bring these workflows into a single platform that non-technical users could adopt easily while still meeting strict financial compliance requirements.

Goal
The goal was to reduce the cognitive load of managing hundreds of loan files by restructuring how financial data was organized, surfaced, and acted upon.
At the same time, I designed a scalable component framework that allowed engineering teams to implement new features consistently as the platform continued to grow.

Solution
I worked on the design of key platform modules and introduced a unified design system that brought consistency to a product that had evolved organically over time.
AI-powered automation reduced manual data entry and document processing, while close collaboration with engineering and client success ensured that every interface aligned with real lender workflows.

Impact
• Simplified complex lending workflows through structured information architecture and a unified design system
• Reduced manual data entry through AI-assisted automation and integrated document workflows
• Enabled consistent feature development with scalable design components implemented across the platform
• Improved transparency for lenders, borrowers, and investors through dedicated portals and centralized data views
The result was a more scalable, automation-driven platform that allowed lenders to manage complex loan portfolios with greater clarity and efficiency.
