Brix
BRIX is an enterprise mobility SaaS platform connecting management with deskless construction workers. I designed a gamified micro-learning system for safety compliance and structured the operations module for geolocation-based time tracking. The result was a mobile-first experience that simplified field workflows while delivering reliable real-time data to management.

Context
Managing and training a deskless workforce is a persistent challenge in the construction industry. Traditional methods—such as punch cards for time tracking or long remote training sessions—are often inaccessible and unreliable for workers constantly moving between job sites.
The opportunity was to create a mobile-first platform that connected field workers and management, ensuring safety training compliance while accurately tracking worker time and location across multiple job sites.

Goal
For the training module, the goal was to replace static training with short, engaging micro-learning experiences. Gamification elements such as points, badges, and leaderboards were introduced to increase participation and improve safety compliance.
For operations, the focus was reducing friction in daily workflows and preventing time theft. I designed a geolocation-based punch-in system that allowed workers to easily track hours on-site while giving managers real-time operational visibility.

Solution
Designing for deskless workers required clear, frictionless mobile workflows. I mapped scenarios reflecting real field conditions, including automated reminders for missed clock-outs and location-based restrictions for time tracking.
The result was a streamlined mobile experience that guided workers through daily tasks and training while providing reliable, real-time operational data for management.

Impact
The platform transformed fragmented field operations into a unified mobile experience for deskless workers. Safety training became more engaging through gamified micro-learning, improving accessibility and encouraging consistent participation across teams.
Geolocation-based time tracking and automated workflows provided managers with reliable real-time visibility into field activities, reducing operational friction while strengthening accountability and compliance across job sites.
